Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore


3 pounds of boneless chicken

1 tablespoon Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tablespoon of High Polyphenol Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Hojiblanca)

2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon of Cumin

1 teaspoon of Oregano

1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (freshly ground)

1 teaspoon of sea salt or add sea salt according to your taste

Medium Green pepper sliced

medium Red Pepper sliced

Medium yellow pepper sliced

1 medium yellow onion (cut up)

15 cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup of water


In a slow cooker poor the water, garlic powder, cumin, and oregano. Mix up the seasonings in the water.

In a Cast Iron skillet, place olive oil and onions. Cook onions in the olive oil for 5 minutes or until soft. Place the onions in the mixture of water & seasonings.

Take the raw Chicken and cook both sides of the chicken in Iron skillet for 2 minutes. Place chicken in slow cooker. Place the sliced peppers and cherry tomatoes in the slow cooker on top of the chicken. Set Slow cooker for 4 to 6 hours. Enjoy!
